Trip Program Details
This Spring break, I have an amazing opportunity to serve alongside 20 other GCU students on a 10-day mission trip to Costa Rica, where we will be serving at a children’ s school and church in an unreached village.
I’m a Business Finance major and an Air Force ROTC Cadet. I have been blessed with this life I get to live and the people I get to share it with, and I want to give back in any way I can. The Lord has shown me the goodness of sharing the gospel with unreached children through various mission trips to Mexico where I have gotten to build a home for 5 different families in need.
The trip will consist of a 7-mile hike to the unreached village where we will build a chicken coop, play with the kids during school activities and teach them basic hygiene skills. We will build new friendships through everything aspect of the trip and foster new relationships with these kids we get to show the love of Christ to for 5 days.
Here’s how you can help me:
1) Prayer. I would greatly appreciate support through prayer as we navigate spreading the gospel in a new country with a foreign language. Praying for safe travels, boldness in our faith, and the wisdom to share His love.
2) Financially. If you feel led to support financially, the total cost of this trip will be $2,100, which covers airfare, housing, food, and transportation.
Thank you for taking the time to read a little about this upcoming trip. I look forward to seeing how God works in these weeks leading up to the trip, and cannot thank you enough for your support!
